Nevin Stewart, Managing Director

Nevin has been a practicing Executive Coach for over 25 years working with VPs and Directors across the Globe. She has an MBA, a Diploma in Coaching and as recently as 2022 attended a 9-month programme at Henley Business School to stay ahead in her field.

Nevin is qualified to interpret a range of psychometric tests and to carry out Return on Investment (ROI) studies by the Institute of ROI. She is also a certified NLP practitioner.

Nevin is passionate about enabling leaders to reach their potential. Executives value her experience and resourceful, clear-thinking, insightful and compassionate questioning style. She is quick to take an overview and capture the essence of the challenge but careful not to neglect the detail.  She excels at partnering customers to create learning events that demonstrate a positive impact on the business and individual leaders.

Joe Wainwright, Director of Team Coaching

Joe trained as a solicitor before finding his vocation in learning and development. He is a team coach and has broad industry experience gained over many years, a natural flair for developing people and can engage them at every level with his high-impact style.

He is as comfortable working with the Board as he is helping Operators understand the behavioural changes they need to make.

As well as working widely in the UK, Joe has worked with teams in Europe, America, Canada, India, Japan and Australia. He is well versed in working with cultural diversity and can quickly sense the needs of a group.

Joe makes everyone feel that their contribution is worthwhile. He can be tough when it is needed, and his challenging and supportive approach always brings measurable performance improvements. He has held a teaching Fellowship with the School of Management at Bath University and is an accredited Insights Discovery, Lumina Spark, and Myers Briggs practitioner.

Jane Bardos, Team Lead for Experiential Coaching

Jane trained at Arts Ed and spent over 6 years as an actress, playing leading roles in the West End and at the Royal National Theatre. She then returned to university and qualified as a lawyer with the Clintons, specializing in theatre and entertainment law.

Most recently, she studied for her Executive Coaching qualification at Henley Business School. With 13 years training and coaching experience, Jane has worked with numerous leading international and regional law firms, and clients in financial services and not-for-profit sectors.

Jane is passionate about enabling individuals to discover new ideas and realizations to lead to practical and manageable steps towards a more successful and enjoyable working life.

Thea Bennett, Stratagem Expert Corporate Role Player

Thea’s background combines theatre and TV acting with management roles and a qualification in Management Studies. She now specializes in corporate acting. Thea brings empathy and intuition to all her work and is committed to helping all the delegates she works with have great learning experience.

Steven Fine, Stratagem Expert Advisor

Steven has 15 years’ experience as a team coach and trainer across multiple business sectors. He started his career in sales and fundraising then moved into senior public affairs roles for international conflict resolution agencies.

He has founded several successful ventures in publishing, and recruitment he launched the UK partnership for Lumina Learning in 2010. Steve continues to consult and coach for organisations primarily in the media, not-for-profit and finance sectors. Steven is a Stratagem Expert Advisor.

Stewart Desson, CEO and founder of Lumina Learning

Stewart is a practicing Business Psychologist and is on faculty for the University of Westminster’s Masters in Business Psychology. He is currently studying for his doctorate in psychometrics at the University of Westminster.

Stewart has two Masters degrees in ‘Operational Research’ and ‘Change Agent Skills and Strategies’. He is skilled in the application of humanistic psychology to support organizational change.  He has extensive experience developing learning resources, web-based psychometrics, and e-learning products with many clients globally.

Kevin Stewart

Kevin has been a senior doctor and clinical leader in the English healthcare system for over 30 years. He has held multiple local and national leadership positions in the UK including as Medical Director (CMO) of his hospital Trust.

Kevin has held posts at the Department of Health in London, the Royal College of Physicians and the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch.

He was a Winston Churchill Trust Fellow in 2003 in various parts of the US researching methods for teaching communication skills to doctors. In 2009/10 he was awarded a Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellowship at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in Boston MA where he received in depth training in all aspects of patient safety and quality improvement.

He has lectured, taught and trained doctors and other clinicians on patient safety, quality improvement and clinical leadership in all parts of the UK, the US and internationally. He has a Masters in Public Health from Harvard.
